Using the Media

In the world of the twenty-four hour news cycle, no organization can afford NOT to be media savvy. We hope this section explains some of the basics of what is called "earned media" and more importantly, how to use the media to increase your chapter's influence over the public discourse. In the process, a good public profile will help you build or expand your coalition, as well as aid in the recruitment of new members.
