Hike to Help Refugees - Nebraska

 In response to the great explosion in refugee numbers in places like Iraq and Syria and South Sudan, the United Nations Association of Nebraska, with support from many Lincoln Churches and organizations, is asking people of all ages in Lincoln to join in a Hike to Help Refugees.

When:  October 11, 2014;  2pm

Where:  Holmes Lake Park (north shore); walk around the lake

Rain Date:  October 19; 2pm.  Consult the web page above in case of uncertain weather on 10/11

Registration:  on or before September 11, 2014.  Send name and personal check (made out to “UNA-NE”) to Steve Larrick, 920 S. 8th St, Lincoln, NE 68508.  We are unable to offer refunds.  Student:  $15;   Adult:  $25; Additional donations gladly accepted.  Children up to age 14 free.

All hikers registered by September 11 receive a USA for UNHCR cap.
