Human Rights Celebration in LouisvilleLouisville ChapterMonday, December 10, 2012 The Muhammad Ali Center is pleased to announce the newest addition to its Metamorphosis film series: Half the Sky: Turning Oppression into Opportunity for Women Worldwide. The 40-minute documentary film, shown in honor of International Human Rights Day, will be shown at the Muhammad Ali Center on Monday, December 10 at 6:00pm in the Center’s auditorium. It is free and open to the public. Doors open at 5:15 p.m. to visit with participating organizations. The film will be followed by a brief discussion during which attendees will have a chance to reflect on and share perspectives on the topics addressed in the film. The film screening is sponsored by the Muhammad Ali Center, the Louisville Chapter of the United Nations Association-USA, and the Anchal Project. Local and international organizations will have booths and information about initiatives and programs they have to empower women worldwide.
