Join us to celebrate not only Universal Children’s Day, but also the 25th Anniversary of the Convention of the Rights of the Child (CRC). The CRC imbues upon children basic rights and gives them a distinct set of rights, instead of having them looked upon as passive beings. Though the CRC was the most rapidly and widely ratified international human rights treaty in history, the United States of America is only one of two countries that have yet to ratify the CRC.
