Register for the 2011 Global Classrooms: Boston Model UN Conference!

During this time, advisors should work with students to prepare and plan for the Conference.

If you are new to Model UN, visit Model UN 101: Getting Started.

Registration Closes and School Fees Due (Non-Refundable)

Registration may close before this date if the conference reaches its capacity. We strongly recommend that schools register early to ensure participation. Schools that register after this date will be charged a $15 late registration fee.

All checks must be made out to "UNA-GB", postmarked and received by this date. Late payment will result in an invalid registration form. Review our registration page for more payment information.

Also, confirm with your students that they can commit to attending the conference. Notify conference organizers immediately regarding any changes in the attendance of conference participants.

Country Matrix Posted Online

Schools should review the country matrix, and select their preferred countries. The country matrix will be posted on the UNA-USA website.

Country Preferences Due

By this time, schools should contact conference organizers with country preferences, as well as, notify conference organizers of updated delegation size.

In addition to receiving your country assignments, conference materials will be posted online to help with your preparation.

During this time, students should be researching and preparing for the conference.

Position Papers and Administrative Forms Due

All position papers should have been submitted by this date. Review our position paper submission page.

Collect a signed Video and Photography Release Formfrom each of your delegates.

Advisors should also use this time to review Global Classrooms Model UN Conference policies and procedures with your students.

  • Review the Conference Code of Conduct.
    Please note: Any iPods, cell phones, magazines or items of this nature seen in committee will be confiscated by committee staff, and only returned to delegates at the end of the conference.
  • Review the Conference Dress Code.
  • Review the Guidelines for Performance.
  • Review the Conference Schedule.
