About Global Classrooms: Johannesburg

Johnannesburg Model UN Conference May 28th, 2011

Jan Smuts House (SAIIA Headquarters) at Wits University

Since 2005, Global Classrooms: Johannesburg has reached over 1000 students and 78 schools from the Guateng Region. Global Classrooms partners with the South African Institute of International Affairs (SAIIA), a non-governmental organization devoted to promoting international relations in South Africa and Africa as a whole. SAIIA hosts trainings and professional development events to its teachers. Students are provided with free computer and internet access in the SAIIA library, and one-on-one tutoring for conference preparations.

UNA-USA is proud to continue Global Classrooms: Johannesburg, a global education program that addresses the curricular, extracurricular and professional development needs of Johannesburg students and teachers.
