Register for the Global Classrooms: Miami Model UN Conference!

During this time, advisors should work with students to prepare and plan for the conference. If you are new to Model UN, you might want to check out Model UN 101: Getting Started.

Learn about the UN (put special emphasis on the committees simulated at the conference).

Registration Closes

Please note that registration may close before February 6 if the conference reaches its capacity. We strongly recommend that schools register early to ensure participation.

Country Assignments Posted

Country assignments equal to the number of delegates registered will be sent to schools via email and posted on the conference page website.

If your school is unable to fill the country assignment spot, notify Robert Brazofsky as soon as possible at rbrazofsky@dadeschools.net

During this time, students should be researching and preparing for the conference.

Advisors should discuss their particular concerns and address needs with students (i.e., appropriate attire to wear, Conference Code of Conductguidelines for performance, etc.).

Begin processing the necessary forms at your school to request payment of delegate and chaperone fees!

Position Papers and Video Release Forms Due

All position papers should have been submitted.  For information regarding the position paper submission process, please click here.

Collect a signed Video and Photography Release Form from each of your delegates.

Advisors should also use this time to review Global Classrooms: Model UN Conference policies and procedures with your students.

Bring your well-prepared students to the Global Classrooms: Miami Model UN Conference at the University of Miami!

Enjoy watching your students in committee and meet with other Model UN advisors from throughout the city.
