Global Classrooms: Sao Paulo Model UN Conference |
The fourth annual Global Classrooms® São Paulo (GCSP) Conference gathered 400 high school students and simulated six committees of the United Nations. The event took place on September 2009, and was organized by UNA-USA together with Instituto Plural.
Global Classrooms® São Paulo students discussed a wide variety of issues, from human rights and health to international security and education. GCSP brings to public schools the experience of Model United Nations.
More than 20 public schools are involved in Global Classrooms® São Paulo, which was made possible by the generous support of Merrill Lynch, Deutsche Bank and Anhembi Morumbi.
