Social Good Summit 2012: Make Your Voice Heard, September 22-24

September 19, 2012
The Social Good Summit is a yearly, innovative event that unites people from around the world around one common theme: the power of social media and technology to solve our world’s greatest issues.

Held in New York City during the UN General Assembly, the Summit serves as the one place where anyone, anywhere can join the conversation on international development. From forward-thinking technologists, to social activists, corporate trailblazers and young entrepreneurs, every voice is represented.

This year, the Summit will take place September 22-24 under the theme of “Digital. Global. Action.” Initial speakers include Nick Kristof, Teddy Ruge, Helen Clark, Deepak Chopra and Forest Whitaker.

You don't have to be in New York to take part in the conversation!

Here are ways you can get involved:

  • Watch the Summit live at socialgoodsummit.com and interact in real-time with the Social Good Summit community via social media with the hashtag #SGSGlobal.
  • Use this toolkit to find everything your Chapter needs to help promote and praticipate in the event, including sample social media language, blog posts and emails.
  • Update your Facebook cover photo with this image.
  • Add a logo on your website.
  • Organize or attend a Social Good Summit Meetup in your own hometown or anywhere around the world.
