West Triangle Chapter Announces Winners of Its Eighth Annual UN Contest for High School StudentsMay 24, 2012 The West Triangle Chapter recently honored eight students, as well as their parents and teachers, at their April Lunch and Learning meeting for their creation of original projects related to the mission of the United Nations Charter.
The top three winners received cash prizes, a certificate of achievement, and a UN pin. Projects were accepted from any discipline and took on a variety of forms such as essays, poems, songs, sculptures, and multi-media presentations.
