UNA-USA Members Comment on US Human Rights Record
As part of the Human Rights Council’s universal periodic review, the United States will undergo an assessment of its human rights record by 47 council members in November in Geneva. To prepare for the review, the US State Department has solicited nongovernmental organizations nationwide and others for feedback and recommendations for the report. Participation in the US submission to the periodic review thus provided UNA-USA chapters to call on the US to ratify international human rights treaties without reservations.
