Join us for a discussion with guest speaker Professor David Favre. Professor Favre has taught International Environmental Law for over twenty years at Michigan State University College of Law. He became immersed into the topic in the 1980’s when he began attending the bi-annual conferences of the Convention on Endangered Species (CITES), writing the first legal text on the Convention and several articles on the wildlife treaty, and on ivory trade. Beginning in the 1990’s he has had his students focusing on the sad story of global warming and the twin issue of sustainable development.
