U.S. Climate Action and the UN Universal Periodic Review

DESCRIPTION

The UNA-USA Southern New York State Division is planning a contribution to the United Nations Universal Periodic Review of Human Rights in the U.S. in relation to climate. The UPR process gives an opportunity to non-governmental organizations and communities to review the country’s policies and actions in the area of climate and to make recommendations. Fifteen participants representing diverse organizations, ages, ethnicities and experiences and with climate interests, will discuss these matters and prepare the Division’s report.
