Human Rights Day, observed every year on December 10, honors the United Nation’s adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) and all that it protects. Regardless of race, color, religion, sex, language, political opinion, national origin, property, or birth, we are all entitled to inalienable rights as human beings. Though we have made much progress towards these goals, there’s still much to be done.
UNA-USA honored the 75th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, on UN Day October 24, with the theme of “Equality, Freedom and Justice for all”. To continue honoring this this theme, the 75th anniversary of the UDHR and International Human Rights Day we encourage you to join us for our virtual celebration on December 8, 2023.
