Ermia Pouladi is the Associate, Communications & Digital Marketing at the United Nations Association of the USA (UNA-USA), a program of the United Nations Foundation. In this role, he supports the development and execution of UNA-USA’s digital outreach strategy across social platforms, newsletters, and the website.
Prior to joining UNA-USA, Ermia served as a Public Information Intern at the United Nations Information Center in Washington, D.C., where he managed a weekly disinformation roundup for the Deputy Secretary-General’s office and led digital strategy efforts across social platforms. He has also worked with startups and media organizations, supporting projects that focused on fact-checking, social media coordination, and strategic communications.
Ermia earned his B.A. in Communication from George Mason University, graduating summa cum laude with the Excellence in Communication Award. He also holds an Associate’s degree in Computer Science and is fluent in Persian, with conversational proficiency in Spanish and French.
