With more than 230 chapters across the country and individual champions in more than 46 states and territories, UNA-USA advocates for a strong US-UN partnership in communities, on campuses, and within Congress. UNA-USA is part of the United Nations Foundation and seeks to connect our grassroots supporters with U.S. decisionmakers in support of a world that is just, peaceful, and prosperous on a healthy planet.

On October 24th, 2022, U.S. Ambassador to the UN Linda Thomas-Greenfield announced an exciting new initiative: the UNA-USA Fellowship.

A first-of-its-kind scholarship, the Fellowship provides financial support for American undergraduates and recent graduates who have secured unpaid internships with the United Nations. UNA-USA 13th Youth Observer to the United Nations

The United Nations Association of the United States of America (UNA-USA) Youth Observer to the UN program began in 2012 and aims to bridge the gap between young Americans and the United Nations. The program aims to empower the next generation of leaders to take action on global issues. UNA-USA is proud to announce Oscar Armando Lopez III as the 13th Youth Observer to the United Nations. As a passionate advocate for climate action, human rights, and digital rights, Oscar brings a wealth of experience and a unique perspective to this prestigious role.

Throughout October, but especially on Thursday, October 24th, the United Nations Association of the United States of America (UNA-USA) will celebrate United Nations Day. Join us, and our 200+ chapters around the country for events and advocacy actions focused on global issues and UN agencies.
