UNA-USA Champions

The UNA-USA Champions program provides UNA members with the opportunity to lead on global issues within their communities. Champions are key advocates and preliminary organizers who play a key role in expanding UNA-USA’s reach across the nation. Ideal participants are 21+ and not currently enrolled in school full-time. Ideal champions are looking to become active UNA-USA advocates in their community, and are already interested or invested in UN issues. They can participate in monthly engagement calls with fellow Champions, access to an online community, and resources to assist them in various activities.

Global Goals Ambassadors

The UNA-USA Global Goals Ambassador Program provides UNA-USA members with an opportunity to take their passion for a particular Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) and leverage it to develop related programming and communications at the national level to raise awareness and work to advance to advance the SDGs. Ambassadors work alongside UNA-USA staff and other volunteer leaders to promote the SDGs through blog posts and UNA Forum articles, attendance and representation at events, and the creation of national programs.

Youth and Student Programs

UNA-USA has a growing network of youth leaders advocating for global progress on the world stage. No matter what global issue you’re passionate about, there’s a way to take action with UNA-USA. There are plenty of ways for young people to get involved, such as the Youth Observer program, the Global Goals Service Resume, the Campus Fellows program, the Emerging leaders fellowship, the Seton Hall summer program, and more.

Model UN

Model UN is a simulation of the UN General Assembly and its other multilateral bodies where students perform an ambassador role while debating topics such as gender equality, climate action, global health, and more. UNA-USA offers opportunities to engage with Model UN, such as the MyDiplomat App, the Action Ambassadors program, and Model UN opportunities through local UNA-USA chapters.

Affinity Groups

UNA-USA Affinity Groups allow members to connect with like-minded members beyond their chapter or region. Joining an Affinity Group enhances the membership experience and provides a platform for members to align their advocacy within certain issue areas.
