Avalyn Pace

Avalyn Pace currently serves as President of the UNA USA Dallas Chapter. She initially engaged with UNA USA in 2017 as a result of a National Partnership with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. The objective of the partnership was to engage local youth across the nation with the mission of the United Nations and raise awareness about important global issues like human rights, refugee crises, climate change, and gender equality. Avalyn was part of the area AKA leadership team that partnered with UNA Dallas to host hundreds of students, engaging them in discussions on global issues and introducing them to the Model UN Framework.

Avalyn spent over 30 years at IBM developing and marketing Industry Solutions to support Global Markets. Avalyn holds a Bachelor of Science from Bishop College, and an MBA from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University. She is married to Daron Pace and they have two daughters, Afton and Aniya.
