Sandra Black

Sandra currently serves as communication officer for USA for IOM, the non-profit partner in the US of the International Organization for Migration, developing communication strategy to raise awareness about migration issues, and assist and develop efforts for migrants and host communities.

She is an experienced department head and communication professional with demonstrated success in delivering clear strategies to position humanitarian agencies through support for donor and government relations, key message development and visibility for field activities.

Sandra has more than 15 years experience in communications and donor reporting with UN agencies and international humanitarian organizations in Mozambique, Iraq, Central African Republic, Timor-Leste and Senegal. She is conversant in Spanish, Portuguese and French.
