Sueann Tannis

Sueann Tannis is a speaker, communications leader, and a proud defender of climate justice, girls, women, education, and representation.

She is Senior Director, Integrated Communications at the United Nations Foundation, based in Washington, D.C. In this role she leads on content strategy and has run award-winning global campaigns.

Prior to joining UN Foundation, Sueann held roles focused on economic development, policy, and global health. Sueann has also worked in financial services, luxury real estate and retail, and tourism.

Sueann holds a Master’s degree with a concentration in Digital Strategy from Georgetown University, and an undergraduate degree in Communication and Culture from Howard University.

Sueann is a regular speaker, writer and guest covering equity, career development, and global communications.

Sueann is a proud 2021-2022 member of the Forbes Communications Council and a two-time jury President at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.
