The UNA-USA Youth Affinity Group Launches the AI for SDGs Series
The UNA Youth Affinity Group is launching the AI For SDGs Campaign that will run for 17 weeks from March 5, 2025 to June 4, 2025. Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies will impact all of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, and we are counting on all of our UNA-USA members, Global Goals Ambassadors, Affinity Group leadership, and youth leaders in their respective SDG spaces to advocate for the sustainable development of AI for global good. This campaign will consist of social media promotions in addition to scheduled conversation circles with speakers including the UNA Youth Observer to the UN, Global Goals Ambassadors, Affinity Group leadership and social entrepreneurs to gain important insights that the core drafting committee will compile to ultimately publish the AI for SDGs Youth Manifesto. During these AI for SDGs conversation circles, we will be exploring AI’s impact and potential and youth opportunities in each SDG space. The AI for SDGs Youth Manifesto will then be presented to the UNA-USA community in summer 2025. Participants and the drafting committee members will be credited and receive a professional Certificate of Completion from the United Nations Association of the USA for their work towards the completion and compilation of the AI for SDGs Youth Manifesto.
