Cynthia Yue

Cynthia Yue is the Advocacy & Engagement Manager for World Food Program USA. A lifelong activist for food security, sustainability, and health equity, she has dedicated her career to addressing issues impacting children and youth worldwide. Her extensive local hunger relief volunteer work and activism have earned her awards and recognition from the Governor of Tennessee and the Tennessee General Assembly.

Prior to joining WFP USA, Cynthia served as the U.S. Youth Observer to the United Nations, the G20 U.S. Youth Delegate for climate, a Mental Health Youth Action Fellow at the White House, and a UNICEF Youth Ambassador. She is a member of the National Advisory Council for SAMHSA in the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, where she provides strategic input on health policies impacting vulnerable youth. Cynthia has been a featured speaker at the United Nations and the White House, as well as outlets including Forbes, NBC News, BBC, and the U.S. Department of State’s Share America.

Cynthia holds a Master in Public Policy degree from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs from the George Washington University.

Take Action: Oppose the Rescissions Package

America leads best when we invest, not retreat. The rescissions package threatens to claw back $9.4 billion in Congressionally appropriated funds—over $8 billion of which is international assistance. These cuts hurt lives, global advancement, and America’s standing. Join us in urging the U.S. Senate to vote NO.
