DESCRIPTION

Come join us, October 28th, for an engaging and forward-looking conversation on how we can create and sustain a better future for all of us.
For more than seven decades, UNA members have advocated on behalf of the UN and its agencies. Over the last year and a half, we’ve been reminded of just how interconnected the world is and that a threat anywhere — from the COVID-19 pandemic to intensifying impacts of climate change — is a threat everywhere. The U.S. should not — and cannot — tackle global challenges alone. Our members know that creating a blueprint for a better future can only be achieved through working in tandem with the UN.
The UN Development Programme is at the center of sustainable development and progress, particularly through the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) framework. Join us for a conversation with
UN Development Programme Administrator Achim Steiner to discuss the state of the SDGs, challenges and opportunities ahead, and the launch of a groundbreaking new program:
Global Goals at Home, an approach to the SDGs that will change the way we relate to, understand, and talk about social impact. The program has already won both national and international pitch competitions for its pioneering vision and methodology.
