The discussion will address African immigrants and asylum seekers, including issues faced by special groups. How do we support new African Immigrants with the challenges in the United States and our communities? Included will be considerations related to the unique experiences and challenges facing African immigrants who identify, either openly or not, as members of the LGBTQ community. Highlights of the conversation will be shared with the United Nations.
