2023 UN Day Global Leadership Awards Luncheon and Ceremony

On October 24, 1945, the United Nations was created. Every year, for the month of October, UNA-USA Dallas celebrates UN Day to commemorate the ratification of the UN Charter, and celebrate the organization’s achievements over the last seven decades. We are in a time when we need to see clearly what unites us more than what divides us, and how embracing the tenets of the Sustainable Development Goals agenda enables us to work together towards a brighter future. Within this context, the UN Day Global Leadership Awards highlight exceptional leaders and organizations moving North Texas forward toward positive change. This year, we will recognize how their remarkable achievements inspire us to see beyond the limits of convention to create a more sustainable North Texas.
