Military Might and Global Peace

In recognition of Veteran’s Day, celebrated annually on November 11, UNA-USA and the UN Foundation will host “Military Might and Global Peace.”

This special Global Engagement Online Series program will feature U.S. veterans and UNA-USA members to offer personal perspectives about how global peace is achieved through cooperation, collaboration, and connection between the U.S. and the UN.

During times of conflict, UN peacekeepers—including U.S. personnel who are deployed and serving within UN peacekeeping missions—provide a ray of hope and protect interests and human rights.
