DESCRIPTION

7-8:30 p.m.

We invite to participate in the UPR consultation at Seton University. The Universal Periodic Review is an opportunity for individuals to set the UN’s agenda on human right challenges in the United States. Individuals of all backgrounds and experience are invited to come and participate in drafting an official document to the United Nations. The consultation will include an open group discussion where people can contribute ideas for the paper. Participate in one of two focus groups: one on the rights of migrants in the United States and the other on access to clean water in the United States. The event will be held on April 30 in the Jubilee auditorium at Seton Hall University. We hope you can help!

Your feedback will be included in the official 2020 Universal Periodic Review Report to the United Nations.

If you require accommodations please contact disability services at dss@shu.edu.
