The event will open with musical presentations and a presentation of proclamation from the Town of North Hempstead. The United Nations Association of the USA Long Island Organizing Group has arranged for a speaker from the United Nations Foundation on the key issue of our day – climate change. She is Rochelle Atizado, who joined the United Nations Foundation in 2018 as Senior Communications Manager, There she manages relationships with UN system communicators, as well as the Global Goals Week coalition, consisting of 70+ partners.
