DESCRIPTION

This event is the second in our four-part summer series, Sustainable Food Systems in New York and the World, in which we aim to prepare our membership and the general public to engage with the UN Food Systems Summit this September. A Chef’s Day of Sustainable Eating

Join Canadian chef and author Aimée Wimbush-Bourque in the Simple Bites kitchen for a zero waste cooking demo, a special highlight of our Summer Food Series. She will be in conversation with Shaza Moghraby from the World Food Programme. Sustainable cooking is about making small, attainable actions on a daily basis, such as meal planning, repurposing leftovers and making the most of ingredients.

Expect practical cooking tips, storage hacks, and inspiration for your zero waste kitchen. Pull up a chair at the global table and embrace sustainable cooking for a sustainable future!
