2024 United Nations Day Humanitarian Awards Dinner. Every year, the United Nations Association of New York commemorates United Nations Day at our Humanitarian of the Year Award Gala Dinner, where we honor prominent individuals and organizations for their contributions to the work of the United Nations. The Gala has become an important and exclusive national event each fall. We consistently bring together diplomats, policymakers, UN supporters, business leaders, activists, and celebrities to call attention to the vital role the UN plays in advancing peace, prosperity and justice worldwide. Our Humanitarian of the Year Award honorees are global leaders in advancing a variety of UN causes and the SDGs.
