Our annual meeting will be an opportunity to meet people interested in helping build our UNA Portland Chapter! We will start with socializing and snacks.
American engagement with the United Nations matters more now than ever. UNA-USA is advocating for more local programming, adult and youth, to educate Americans about how valuable the United Nations work is to finding sustainable solutions to global challenges. Come to our meeting on Tuesday, February 18th, to learn more, add your ideas, plan activities, and set priorities for UNA Portland in 2020!
Please vote online for four members of the Board so it is received ahead of the meeting. Whether you are available to attend this annual meeting or not, please vote promptly. The ballot is for the election of the first four members to the Board of Directors for 2020. At the meeting, these four elected Board members will elect additional members to the Board and appoint other officers and committee chairpersons. Background information about the 2020 UNA Portland Board of Directors nominees is enclosed.
