DESCRIPTION

UNA-Westchester’s Annual Meeting will focus on Climate Action, especially at the local level. The program will feature Kale Roberts, a representative of ICLEI, who connects local communities to the Climate Conventions at the UN, to set the stage for what the United Nations is doing in response to Climate Change. The Climate Panel of local mayors aims to facilitate a comprehensive discussion on pressing environmental issues, exploring sustainable solutions, and fostering a collaborative approach towards environmental stewardship. By bringing together experts, community leaders, and concerned citizens, the event seeks to raise awareness and inspire collective action for a more sustainable future.
