UNA Women: UNA City for CEDAW Townhall

DESCRIPTION

Are you interested in learning more about the United Nations Convention on the Elimination of all Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW)? Are you interested in learning how to engage local partners, stakeholders, and local law and policymakers in implementing the principles of CEDAW in your community/state?

If so, please join UNA Women for our Cities for CEDAW Campaign Townhall on April 21, 2022, from 8 pm-9 pm! This will be our first townhall within a series of townhalls and will focus on an overview of CEDAW and why the United States has not yet ratified this treaty. As an attendee, you will also hear from UNA-USA members from across the country that have been able to successfully work with their local community partners and law and policymakers to adopt the principles of CEDAW in their community.
