UNA Women believes that girls and women have the right to be equal everywhere. Equality is how we make progress on some of the world’s biggest challenges: ending poverty and hunger, improving health and education, tackling the climate crisis, and growing economies.

In recognition of International Women’s Day on March 8th, and to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the adoption of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action, UNA Women will host this webinar to launch its yearlong campaign, #EqualEverywhere. During the webinar, UNA members will learn how to celebrate these moments by hosting events, volunteering, and honoring local champions. Additionally, we will review the International Women’s Day digital toolkit, which includes a city proclamation, social media resources, and communications on turning your city purple!
