Join us for the 2025 US-UN Advocacy Summit: Stronger, Safer & More Prosperous Together hosted by UNA-USA on June 23-24 in Washington, D.C. This application-based, two-day event fulfills UNA-USA’s mission to educate, inspire, and mobilize our members to champion U.S. leadership at the United Nations—including advocating for full U.S. funding of the UN and promoting U.S. values through the UN’s critical work.
Applications will go live on Monday, April 7th. Save the date and make sure to be part of this transformative experience and ensure America continues to lead in building a safer, stronger, and more prosperous world. As a reminder, summit participation is restricted to US constituents.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
CONFIRM PARTICIPATION: Applicants will be notified of their acceptance beginning Tuesday, May 6th, 2025. Accepted advocates will be asked to complete the registration process by Monday, May 12th at 9:30 AM ET. The Registration fees are two categories: $150 Advocacy Summit ticket for UNA-USA Youth Members (under age 26) and $200 Advocacy Summit ticket for (non-youth) UNA-USA Members. Failure to submit payment will result in your spot being offered to the next advocate on the waiting list. Please review details about the event, including travel and accommodations below.
TRAVEL: Attendees will be responsible for booking their own travel. Scholarship amounts may vary. Requests for financial support, submitted at the time of this application, may cover a portion of expenses to and from Washington, D.C., such as flights, trains, ground transportation, or hotel. Financial support excludes taxis and rideshare. Please DO NOT book travel until your participation has been confirmed via receiving an acceptance letter. Once again, applicants will be notified of their acceptance beginning Tuesday, May 6th, 2025.
HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS: Our UNA-USA Advocacy Summit will take place at Yotel, 415 New Jersey Ave NW, Washington, DC 20001. For those expressing interest in scholarships, UNA-USA may offer (not guaranteed) to book you a two-bed, double-occupancy hotel rooms for the nights of June 22; June 23, with a check-out date on June 24. Even if you do not receive a scholarship, you can still express interest in a roommate, and we will do our best to match you. We cannot guarantee an assignment. It is dependent on how many people express interest.
