About the Event
Join the United Nations Association of Orange County (UNA-OC) for our annual Human Rights Day Celebration 2025, a signature event dedicated to advancing education, awareness, and community dialogue on human rights and cultural heritage.
This year’s theme, “Rights With Roots — Culture With Courage,” highlights how the moral and philosophical foundations of human rights were planted by ancient civilizations—and how protecting those rights today continues to require courage, empathy, and cooperation.
Through meaningful discussion, artistic expression, and community engagement, the program explores how humanity’s shared heritage connects to the universal pursuit of dignity, justice, and peace.
