Gabriel Nagel

Gabriel Nagel joins the UNA-USA Global Engagement Summit as the UNA-USA Global Goal Ambassador for Climate Action and the inaugural Chairperson of the EPA’s National Environmental Youth Advisory Council. He founded the nonprofit Light CO2, notable for its carbon footprint tracking app and planting over 10,000 trees. Gabriel also pioneered a historic environmental justice policy in 200 schools, impacting 92,000 students. His engagement extends to NPR, NYC Climate Week, and discussions on climate anxiety with Vice-President Kamala Harris. Gabriel is a recipient of the President’s Environmental Youth Award, affirming his commitment to global climate action and justice.
