Jarrett James Lash
James is the Founding Member and Strategic Growth Lead of Sheltainer Homes, a sustainable, modular housing startup. He also co-founded and serves as the Policy Director of the Center for Rural Homelessness, a nonprofit organization that advocates for and supports rural communities in addressing homelessness and housing insecurity. He collaborates with local policymakers as a member of the Montgomery County Pennsylvania Homeless Task Force Operations Team.
He is inspired by opportunities to build community coalitions for positive change, create physical value through smart development, and design fiscally responsible solutions for our nation’s top issues. Lash graduated from New York University with a B.A. in Global Liberal Studies with a Concentration in Politics, Rights, and Development. He has previous professional experience with the U.S. Department of State, the Manhattan Institute, the Department of Defense, and NASA.
