Members of the UNA Women Affinity Group advocate for UN programs that advance women and girls’ rights and promote women empowerment on a global scale. Participation in UNA Women is open to any current UNA-USA member.

Members of the UNA Educators Affinity Group promote the work of the UN and the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the classroom and share best practices. Participation in UNA Educators is open to any current UNA-USA member who is affiliated with a K-16 education program or school.

The UNA Human Rights Affinity Group is an initiative to share and strategize around United Nations human rights instruments and institutions important to UNA-USA members. It is also a national discussion and dialogue about bringing human rights home — where human rights matter most. We advocate for advancement of human rights in our community, country and around the world.

The UNA Climate and Environmental Action Affinity Group welcomes any UNA-USA member who is interested in environmental sustainability. Members of the group are able to attend virtual educational events to hear from activists and UN agencies on topics such as sustainable agriculture and renewable energy. The group also provides UNA members with a community to connect and collaborate with their peers on environmental initiatives.
