Marielle Ali
Marielle is a global citizen who strives for social justice impact both locally and internationally. She is a young professional with over six years of experience working in government and non-profit roles such as Open Society Foundations, the Permanent Mission of Rwanda to the United Nations, the United States Mission to the United Nations, UNICEF among other places. Marielle has also advised several non-profits in their United Nations’ engagement leading to strategic partnerships within the United Nations system.
Marielle currently serves on the National Council of the United Nations Association USA and is the Chair of the Southern New York Division Young Professionals Program. She is an Honorary Advisor to the NGO Committee on Sustainable Development and volunteers with RESULTS. Marielle is also a Global Youth Ambassador with A World At School. Currently, Marielle works at LitWorld, an international non-profit promoting global literacy through the power of storytelling. Marielle holds a Master of Science in Global Affairs from New York University. She is also the mother of an adventurous toddler.
