Madison Peak is the Senior Community Engagement Associate at the United Nations Association of the USA (UNA-USA) in Washington, DC. In this role, she supports UNA-USA’s nationwide grassroots network and champions civic engagement in support of the United Nations and its mission. Previously, Madison served as a Program Associate for the International Republican Institute’s Women’s Democracy Network (WDN), where she supported a global portfolio focused on Women, Peace and Security and women’s political empowerment, funded by the National Endowment for Democracy.
Madison received her Master of Arts in International Affairs with a specialization in diplomacy from Boston University’s Pardee School of Global Studies in 2023, where she wrote her thesis on the historical successes and failures of international institutions in advancing the rights of women. She earned concurrent bachelor’s degrees in political science and global studies from Arizona State University’s School of Politics and Global Studies in 2021.
Her previous experience also includes internships with WDN and the United Nations Association of Greater Boston, where she promoted gender equality and the Sustainable Development Goals.
