Our theme for the 2024 UN Day, is UN for US. The play on words is the emphasize how the United States needs the United Nations. This year, more than ever, we must support, advocate and protect the mission of the United Nations.
The theme UN for US stands for how vital the UN is and the value is brings for the US. The UN is a critical forum for the U.S. to safeguard its interests and expand its impact on the world. U.S. leadership at the UN benefits the American people in direct and tangible ways. It stands for protecting US interests such as ensuring a strong U.S. perspective in debates on important topics, shaping global actions so the U.S. and the world both benefit, Sharing the responsibility for humanitarian, security and development needs.

If you’re planning a UN Day event with UNA-USA’s 2024 theme of “UN for US”, we want to help make sure you get expert speakers for your programming.
