Global Goals Ambassadors

Each year, up to two UNA-USA members per Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) are selected as Global Goals Ambassadors to increase awareness, build national SDG programming, and elevate UNA-USA’s mission. These ambassadors serve as reporters and public information specialists, representing the UN’s 17 SDGs.

Apply to be a Global Goals Ambassador

Launched in 2020, the UNA-USA Global Goals Ambassador Program empowers UNA-USA members to serve as reporters and trusted communicators for the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Through content creation, speaking engagements, and national event participation, Ambassadors elevate public awareness and support for their assigned SDG. They collaborate with UNA-USA staff, chapters, and UN Foundation partners while gaining access to exclusive training, networking, and professional development opportunities.

Applications for the 2025–2026 cohort open July 8 and close August 4 at 8:00 a.m. ET.
