Amber Stone
Amber Stone is the Assistant Director of Municipal Partnerships at UNICEF USA. In her current role, Amber supports local government partners, community-based organizations, youth and other allies to implement UNICEF’s global Child Friendly Cities Initiative (CFCI) framework, elevating the voices of youth in local governance and raising awareness about child rights in communities across the United States.
Amber brings to UNICEF USA 13 years of professional experience as a child rights advocate managing child development and protection research, programming, policy, and funding initiatives in the United States and globally. Amber has an extensive background collaborating across sectors to strengthen strategic partnerships and advance policy and innovative programming with and for children.
She holds a master’s degree in Public Policy and Administration from Northwestern University, and a dual bachelor’s degree in Applied Psychology and Criminology, Law, and Justice from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Amber and her family are currently based in the greater Seattle, WA area.
