Katrina (she/her) is our Community Engagement Manager. She manages our nationwide network of community chapters, divisions, and organizing groups in their efforts to educate and advocate within their communities, and works to develop new chapters in strategic areas. She provides community chapters resources, training, and guidance on leadership and programmatic efforts towards their success. In addition, Katrina manages the Champions and Global Goals Ambassadors programs, which seek to develop skills in members as they seek to engage around the SDGs as solo advocates. Prior to working with UNA-USA, she managed the national scholarship programs at the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, Inc. and collaborated with congressional offices on events throughout the year focused on education, grassroots action, and Black women leadership under its Sojourner Truth Legacy Project. She has a bachelor’s degree in modern foreign languages and master’s degree in international affairs.
