Katrina is the Community Engagement Manager for UNA-USA. In this capacity she manages our nationwide network of over 100 community chapters in their efforts to educate and advocate within their communities, and works to develop new chapters in strategic areas. Katrina provides community chapters resources, training, and guidance on leadership and programmatic efforts towards their success. In addition, she managed UNA’s Champions and Global Goals Ambassadors programs, which seek to provide opportunities for UNA-USA members to increase their skills and engage around the SDGs as solo advocates. Prior to working with UNA-USA, Katrina managed national scholarship scholarship programs at the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, Inc. and collaborated with congressional offices on events throughout the year focused on education, grassroots action, and Black women leadership. She has a bachelor’s degree in modern foreign languages from James Madison University and an master’s degree in international affairs from American University, where she focused on comparative regional studies and cross-cultural communications.
