UNA-USA's Global Classrooms Presents DECORUMTwo days at the United Nations changed the lives of students from John Adams High School forever.Decorum, a documentary produced by UNA-USA, shows how these students from Queens, NY, were empowered and inspired through the Model UN program. In a competition bringing together students from across the globe – they took their new life skills and knowledge of the world across the bridge to Manhattan to work as ambassadors for two days at the Global Classrooms International Model UN Conference. The students represented Sudan at the conference – a country with complex problems needing international solutions, no small feat for this young group. Model UN is an academic simulation of the UN that promotes leadership skills and understanding of international affairs and world cultures. Over 500,000 students participate in Model UN programs each year. During the Global Classrooms International Model UN Conference 140 schools, 2,500 students, and 300 teachers participate.
