Registration for Global Classrooms: Miami Model UN Conference is open to all interested junior and senior high schools in the Miami-Dade County School District.
Country Selection and Country Matrix
On your registration form, indicate which countries your school would like to represent at the conference. UNA-USA does its best to assign each school at least one requested country, but we cannot guarantee country or committee assignments. In the event that we are unable to assign you one of your preferred countries, you may also request specific regions your school is interested in representing.
Please consult the country matrix for senior high and junior high committees before registering to ensure the countries you are requesting have the same number of delegate assignments as the number of students you plan on bringing to the conference.
Fee Structure
- School Fee: $50
- Delegate Fee: $15 per delegate
Schools will be contacted for payment details by Robert Brazofsky, Social Sciences Curriculum and Instruction Supervisor, once registration closes.
Transportation
All bus transportation to and from the event will be organized and paid for through Curriculum and Instruction, Social Sciences. Once registration is closed, you will be contacted by Curriculum and Instruction, Social Sciences, regarding the specific transportation information and logistics. In addition, substitute coverage will be given to participating teachers at no cost to the school.
Maximum Delegation Size
In order to ensure fair participation to as many schools as possible, the delegation-size cap is 28 students per school.
