Member Upskill Session

Community service is an important way to advance the Sustainable Development Goals in your community by taking action and raising awareness. This session will demonstrate examples of how individual UNA-USA members can add to their service resume and mobilize their peers to take action for the Global Goals in their local community.

Chapter Leader Session

Chapter Leaders: join this session to learn how to leverage the Sustainable Development Goals in order to convene partners and citizens in your community. The SDG Community Needs Assessment and Action process will be shared to empower your chapter to actively participate in the effort to localize the Global Goals.

For both new and seasoned UNA-USA members, this session will offer both numbers and nuances to incorporate into your meetings with Members of Congress.

Preparing for Your Advocacy Moment

Advocacy Training 1B

This advocacy training will review 2021 UNA-USA talking points to help inspire and inform your story and to help you prepare for YOUR advocacy moment. For both new and seasoned UNA-USA members, this session will provide best practices and tips to ensure a successful meeting.

Program Round Robin

Member Upskill Session

During this session, UNA-USA members can pop into various breakout rooms to learn more about the multitude of programs and initiatives offered by UNA-USA. The breakout rooms will be hosted by various stakeholders associated with the program—including previous participants, staff liaisons, etc.—and will follow an organic format of a brief overview and then open discussion and opportunities to ask questions.

Diversity, Equality, Accessibility & Inclusion

Chapter Leader Session

In this session, the UNA-USA Diversity, Equity, Accessibility and Inclusion (DEA&I) Task Force will lead a discussion on how we can collectively strengthen UNA-USA’s diversity and ensure DEA&I across leadership, membership, programs, and partnerships, as well as build a culture of equity and inclusion in all that we do.
