About the Leadership Summit
Every year, UNA members from across the country convene in Washington, D.C. for the Leadership Summit to advocate for the UN’s work on Capitol Hill. For the first two days of the summit, advocates attended workshops to improve their advocacy skills, connect with other advocates from across the country, and learn from high-ranking officials about how the UN is tackling global challenges. On the final day of the conference, members met with their elected officials in a virtual Lobby Day to make the case for continued U.S. support for the UN.
For the past two years, Leadership Summit has been brought to you as a digital summit, so we are excited to bring to you our new hybrid format summit! Attendees attended fully virtually or came to D.C. in person for the first two days before also going digital for Lobby Day. Wherever attendees were at physically, we were all united under our theme of “US. TOGETHER. FORWARD.” as we fight for a better future.
